Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) - application possibilities and potential benefits

Within the framework of the Digital Week in Dortmund from November 4 to 8, 2019, IPS will host a workshop which IPS Engineers will organize together with Netzwerk Industrie RuhrOst e. V. (NIRO).
On November 6, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., everything will revolve around the topic "Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) - application possibilities and potential benefits".
All IT and production managers and decision-makers from manufacturing companies who are already involved in an IIoT project or are planning one are invited to attend.
The workshop will start with an exchange of information about potential use cases and will include SWOT analyses of the IIoT future of the respective companies. It will provide a solid insight and technical depth into the topic of IIoT, provide a discussion on the design of IIot projects and provide information on opportunities to participate in a collaborative IIoT project. There will also be a demonstration of the IIoT demonstrator from the Institute for Production Systems (IPS) at the TU Dortmund University.
The workshop is free of charge.
