The survey of the industry on technical cleanliness in container and packaging logistics, conducted as part of the working group "Clean Packaging" under the leadership of the IPS, reflects the current state of the art and provides information on the upcoming fields of action in packaging and container logistics.

In regular sessions, the CEC working group Clean Packaging, which was founded at the end of 2019, dealt with the logistics process step and specifically examined container cleanliness and packaging concepts in technical cleanliness. Experts from the CEC members of TU Dortmund University - Institute for Production Systems, Antalis Verpackungen GmbH, CleanControlling GmbH and Nerling Systemräume GmbH worked together across networks. Based on a survey in the industry, a study report on technical cleanliness in container and packaging logistics was developed and published after the evaluation and subsequent assessment of the survey data as a result of the working group. The working group collected industry data for the logistics process for the first time, thus confirming that packaging concepts and container management in the logistics sector have already taken on a relevant role for maintaining component cleanliness when considering the technical cleanliness process chain, which must be brought into even greater focus in the future.

The results were presented by Dr.-Ing. Ronny Zwinkau during the expert forum at Parts2Clean and confirmed by the auditorium.
