Lucas Polley, M.Sc., studied mechatronics at Bochum University of Applied Sciences as part of a cooperative engineering program at a well-known automotive supplier. He then completed his master's degree in mechanical engineering at the Ruhr University Bochum, specializing in design and automation technology. During this time, he worked on various industrial projects in a consulting company and is now a research associate at the IPS at TU Dortmund University in Production System Dynamics. His work focuses on the optimisation of production systems in the context of dynamic value stream analysis of manufacturing companies
