The Virtual Commissioning: a practical web seminar is offering possibilities for VC introductions

The web seminar is originated by a cooperation with the RIF Institut für Forschung und Transfer e.V. and the ISW at the University of Stuttgart. The seminar illustrates different options to implement virtual commissioning in comprehensive industry.
On January the 20th of 2021, the VDMA welcomes everybody interested in the freeweb seminar “Virtual Commissioning” from 8 am to 10 am. (German link for registration. The seminar will be held in German, too)
The seminar is based on a guideline, which includes methodical actions for realising virtual commissioning in your own company. It was developed in a joint project by RIF Institut für Forschung und Transfer e.V. and the Institut für Steuerungstechnik der Werkzeugmaschinen und Fertigungseinrichtungen (ISW) at the University of Stuttgart.
Fascinating presentations, held by partners of the project, will inform attendees about the huge value of virtual commissioning. Furthermore, first steps for an easy implementation will be shown.
In addition, a checklist will be presented to offer encouragements for an own implementation of VC. Furthermore, the seminar features interesting examples regarding virtual commissioning from industry and science alike.
