MTM for Students: Current Training at the IPS

From January 12 to 23, 2025, the IPS is hosting the course “Predetermined Motion Time Studies in Industrial Engineering.” Over ten intensive training days, students are acquiring comprehensive knowledge in designing and optimizing manual work processes. A key component is integrated training in the process building block systems MTM-1 Base® and MTM-UAS®. The course combines methodological fundamentals with industrial practice.
Students from the master’s programs in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, and Industrial Engineering are identifying optimization potentials and modeling cyclic work. Upon successful completion, all participants will receive official, internationally recognized certificates from the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V., granting access to advanced qualifications such as the MTM Practitioner. With these acquired skills, graduates will be well prepared to successfully meet future challenges in production and process design.
