A hybrid kick-off meeting of the new crossover research project "Network Digital GreenTech" (NetDGT) took place on 14th and 15th of October 2021 in Berlin with a parallel Zoom conference. Conducted by the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V., the project aims at connecting, synthesizing and integrating activities and results from eleven BMBF-funded projects that research the utilization of digital technologies in environmental engineering. One of the participating projects is DiKueRec.

In addition to exciting project presentations, common interdisciplinary topics such as applications of AI in environmental engineering and sustainability development analysis were discussed in parallel real and virtual workshops. Despite a major variety of represented project topics, multiple common interests and interfaces between projects could be determined. The research team of the DiKueRec project is grateful for funding, support and organization by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Project Management Agency Karlsruhe (PTKA) and Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V.!
