UniDoku - Invitation to the Kick-off Meeting

The technical documentation of machinery and equipment can no longer adequately address the increasing dynamics in production systems in its traditional form. However, Digital twins have the potential to reflect this dynamic. Linking technical documentation with the digital twin requires a generic and adaptable structural template for digital plant documentation as a key prerequisite to ensuring interoperability and timeliness  throughout the entire life cycle of the production system.

As part of the research project UniDoku (Universal Documentation Schema for the Lifecycle of Cyber-Physical Production Systems), we aim to address these challenges. We therefore warmly invite you to the first PA meeting, which will focus on the question of where uniformity creates benefits and where it may become a hindrance.

Together, we would like to:

• Present the research concept behind UniDoku

• Share the results of the interview study conducted within the project

• Identify challenges and application scenarios

• Discuss what the future of technical documentation could look like

The project meeting offers you the opportunity to exchange views on the latest developments in technical documentation and to contribute your perspective as an industry partner.
