Abschluss des Forschungsprojekts KoMPI
The KoMPI research project has been successfully completed with exciting results and a well-attended final event in Esslingen.

At the turn of the year, the KoMPI project "Performance-based, digital planning of collaborative assembly systems and integration into variable production scenarios" was successfully completed. In the period from January 2017 to December 2019, the project team researched the simulation-based planning of scenarios in the field of human-robot interaction (MRI) and human-robot collaboration (MRK), i.e. the fence-less collaboration between humans and lightweight robots in assembly. The main focus of the IPS was, besides the holistic combination of the planning steps, the MRK potential determination, the capability oriented distribution of tasks between human and robot and an evaluation from the point of view of industrial science, as well as the development of training contents for the mentioned focal points.

The final event of the research project took place in Esslingen on November 14, 2019. Together with the ARIZ and Rococo projects, the project results were presented to a broad professional audience and the project management organization under the title "Man and Robot in the Assembly of the Future".

In addition to exciting presentations, the project results were presented in 7 sessions on the topics

  • Simulation,
  • Design,
  • Acceptance and co-determination,
  • Qualification,
  • Security,
  • System integration and
  • Evaluation

presented by the participating project partners and discussed with the participants. The IPS presented the results of the project in the areas of simulation, design, qualification and evaluation through lectures and tool presentations.
